Just by giving them a safe space to live, you are helping them on their way to a wonderful forever life and home. I agree to give my foster dog back to On The Road To Rescue (OTRTR) if they request to have it back at any point. I understand that the dog is not my property, but belongs to On The Road To Rescue . If I fail to return my foster dog to On The Road To Rescue when asked, I will pay $2,500.

I will keep my foster dog on a leash at all times when outside (unless in my own fenced-in backyard). I understand that it can be dangerous for many reasons to have a dog off-leash in public. I understand that if an incident occurs because I had my foster dog off leash in public, I will be liable for any financial or legal penalties that occur.

I will not let my children under the age of 13 years of age hold my foster dog’s leash because it would be easy for them to take off and get run over, get bit by another dog or bite another dog or get lost. If an incident occurs because I let my child under 12 years old hold the leash of my foster dog, I will be held personally liable for any financial or legal penalties.

If I want to adopt my foster dog, I will let On The Road To Rescue know as soon as possible.

I will let Alison Turner know BEFORE I buy anything for my foster dog that I expect her to reimburse money for. I will ask her first before spending her money. I will not expect to receive any money back unless the spending is approved prior to the purchases.

I agree to stay in contact with On The Road To Rescue and provide regular updates on my rescue dog. If I fail to do so, Alison Turner or another rescue representative has permission to drop by my house for an in-person welfare check of my rescue dog and even take it back into her custody if she believes it’s in the dogs best interest.
